Elephant Cathedral/Silent Teachers

The word cathedral is derived from the Latin noun "cathedra" (seat or chair), and refers to the presence of the bishop's or archbishop's chair or throne. In the ancient world, the chair was the symbol of a teacher.

Tiny in all respects in comparison to its surrounding, the elephant has in the jungle that surrounds it a silent teacher. Very often we forget our tiny finitude, play up our pettiness and fail to recognise the many giant silent teachers in our lives.
