The Tragedy of Adulthood


A young student of mine once told me (re-phrased):
"Childhood is all about play...teens, all about fun...and adulthood and old age are all about being stressed and boring !" Perhaps the tragedy of adulthood/old age is losing that capability for genuine playfulness and fun.

Listening With an Attitude !


Many of us think we are listening but are just hearing. Worse still, we listen with an attitude...not listening sympathetically to what is said and not said but only listening to 'bite' people!
